Impetus Movement Dance Company Returns for Season 2!
We’re thrilled to announce that Impetus Movement Dance Company is back for its highly anticipated second season—and we’re ready to build on the momentum of our exciting debut year with even more innovative performances, dynamic projects, and opportunities for emerging artists.
As we step into Season 2, we’re looking to expand our creative family. Impetus is currently seeking contemporary dancers who are passionate, driven, and eager to grow as artists within a collaborative and boundary-pushing environment. This is an opportunity to be part of a company that values artistic exploration, high physicality, technical excellence, and community engagement.

Audition / Season 2 Details
Season runs from september 2025-may 2026, and will be a 2-hour weekly time commitment on the weekend.
Looking for trained contemporary dancers, But all GENRES are welcome
age 18+ requirement
season will include a company show in the spring and various short-term projects throughout the year
Compensation is a profit-share model with revenue split between artists. the company may also take on external bookings throughout the season.

Submissions will close August 1st 11:59pm. Select submissions will be invited to an in-person audition on August 17th 2025, held in downtown Toronto. All applicants will be notified by August 7th.
